This website is run by Cindy of Cindy's Gen X Fam, a TikTok creator. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Your email address, only if you give it to me. The "Never miss a LIVE" and "Remind me" boxes ask for your email so I can send you a heads-up about LIVE schedule changes, new merch, and Amazon finds. That's the only personal information this site asks for. Those submissions are stored securely by Netlify, the company that hosts this site.
Basic technical information. Like nearly every website, my hosting provider automatically records standard technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. This is used only to keep the site running and secure. I don't use it to identify you personally.
Nothing else. This site has no user accounts, no comments, no checkout, and does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own.
To send you occasional updates about when I go LIVE, new merch, and products I've featured. I won't send spam, and I won't sell, rent, or share your email with anyone for their own marketing. Every email I send includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also email me at info@cindysgenxfam.com at any time to be removed.
This site links to services I don't control, including TikTok, Amazon, and my merch store (hosted by Printful). Each of those has its own privacy policy, and anything you do there, such as buying a product or following me, is governed by their rules, not mine. I encourage you to read their policies.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you buy something through one of my Amazon links, I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon may use cookies to track that a purchase came from my link; those cookies belong to Amazon and are covered by Amazon's privacy policy.
Netlify hosts the site and stores email sign-ups. Google Fonts provides the typefaces (your browser requests them from Google when the page loads). My LIVE schedule may be loaded from a published Google Sheet, which contains only my schedule and nothing about you.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted an email address, contact me and I'll delete it.
You can ask me at any time to see, correct, or delete any personal information I have about you (which, realistically, is just your email address). Email info@cindysgenxfam.com and I'll take care of it promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; I'll honor those requests too.
If I change how this site handles information, I'll update this page and the effective date at the top.
